The Tacoma C1C-E4 is one of the best sounding acoustic guitars I have ever played. But it doesn't stop there, it is also one of the easiest guitars to play. The action is incredible for an acoustic guitar straight off the shelf. The finish on the neck is smooth and provides easy movement for quick chord changes. Due to its slightly thinner body than most acoustics, only 3 ˝ inches, it is very comfortable to play standing. The relocation of the sound hole with the natural wood color gives this guitar a very distinct and beautiful look.
The tone produced by this guitar is extremely clear, the highs and the lows both cut through without any distortion. The tone of this guitar is comparable to other guitars 2-3 times its cost. The sustain of the notes and the harmonics produced by this guitar are also astounding. Then when it doesn't seem to be able to get any better, it does. The Fishman electronics give the player an incredible range of voicing and sounds. It even includes
a phase switch so that on-stage you can determine the resonance frequency of the guitar with the speaker.
To complete the package is the case. The first thing I noticed was the handle was not plastic, but leather. What a difference that made. Also, the interior of the case is perfectly form fitted to the shape of the guitar and the electronics.
Whether your style is country, finger picking, or rock, this guitar can produce the sound you are looking for in an easily playable guitar without having to sell a kidney.
